Champy the Useless Vampire is a 2D hand-drawn point-and-click adventure game with a feel-good vibe and lots of crazy puzzles.

Meet Champy, the unconventional vampire who doesn't drink blood and only has one power, the ability to turn into a bat. After living a couple of decades in Paris, he is suddenly called into service by his family.

Champys grandfather, the once-mighty Dracula,is losing his immortality and powers. The years he has lived are rapidly catching up to him and threatens to end his existence rather quickly, setting the stage for a race against the clock.

Dracula's fear of being overthrown by the other vampires makes him turn to the only one he trusts, his useless grandson. Champy, recently being banished from Transylvania after a series of unfortunate incidents, leaps at the chance to redeem himself.

Embark on an adventure amongst a cult of vampire hunters, a giant octopus and zombie animals. Will Champy find a way to save Dracula before it's too late?

Neat! Did you get in contact with GOG for a release there yet?

We have reached out twice, but they never respond, so I guess they just aren’t interested.

Meh, that's a shame. I assume you used the official application form and didn't just write an email. Not responding to applications at all ... that's no good.
Their curation team keeps being one of their greatest weaknesses.

Excellent adventure game.
The professional voice acting is a very nice touch.
Is it possible to include a version and an change log with each release so we know what was changed or fixed?

(+2)

yes, absolutely, I just need to research how to accomplish this

Easy.
- Add the game's version to the zip filename (you can optionally also add it to the game filename or even in the game itself, for ex. in the game's main menu)
- Make a post each time you make an update which include the new version and what changes/fixes that version contains. You can use the itch.io devlog posts for these posts to avoid putting everything in the game's main description.
Itch.io itself ask you if you want to make a new devlog when you upload a new file.
- Add a text file in the zip files that contains a text listing of all the versions & their changes/fixes.

There are plenty of example on itch.io alone but if you want an example of the first 2 points check a previous game of mine

Also it's best to keep the previous version up, at least for a couple of weeks, in case the new version introduce bugs.
